Child Advocate and Health Care Consultant, Dr. Nancy Faulkner,
advocates for the protection of children and prevention of child sexual abuse.
Although not a survivor of abuse, Dr. Faulkner describes her
commitment to protecting children as coming "from the tears and pain" of the many victims with whom
she's worked.

Faulkner, noted expert and researcher in victimization
and perpetration, has for the past twenty years provided mental health services, healthcare
consultation, and developed a variety of treatment programs -- including treatment for victims,
their families, and both adolescent and adult perpetrators.
Dr. Faulkner has a tapestried career of professions, including
twenty years in the business world before pursuing her doctorate in counseling psychology. She divides her overflowing professional plate between updating Pandora's Box, writing poetry and articles on abuse, responding to inquiries on child abuse, promoting child prevention legislation, development of treatment programs, and providing seminars, workshops, behavioral healthcare consultation. Also included in Faulkner's areas of expertise are teen suicide, abductions, substance abuse, parenting, and communication.
